Bonjour,

Pouvez-vous m'aider pour la traduction de ce terme.

Dans Termium, je trouve pour Fillet la traduction "Congé" dont la définition est la suivante "Raccordement par une surface courbe entre deux surfaces parallèles, réalisé en prenant par exemple comme rayon, la distance entre les deux surfaces". Cette définition semble s'appliquer à mon texte. En revanche je ne vois pas à quoi correspond "dead" => une traduction possible étant "absorbant" (chocs, bruits, ...) => je propose un "congé absorbant" mais c'est une supposition car je ne trouve aucune occurence.

Le texte dans lequel apparaît ce terme est la description succinte d'un projet réalisé par un ingénieur CAO dans le secteur automobile. Le projet consistait en un "panneau de renforcement pour les portes avant [de la voiture]

Voici le texte en question, je n'ai malheureusement pas plus de contexte
