International payment came through 6% down, how best to avoid this in the future?

Because she's based in the UK, which is now outside of the EU, and I suppose paying me from her bank account would have been extremely expensive. Not only that, but using TransferWise gives her the chance of paying in euros rather than pounds, so there's no exchange fee, which I believe is convenient for both of us.
