Born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, I completed all my education in Denmark and was successfully working toward completing an MD/PhD  at University of Copenhagen when I was invited to work in Medical Research in the United States.

Resident of the US since 1990. Graduate degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. Coursework included a number of graduate level classes in translation.

Lecturer at University of Washington in Environmental Studies and English.

I have since worked in the private sector as HR Manager and Business Manager, while working part time as translator.
