My mobile is for private use only and my landline is from the last century Aug 31, 2020

My landline can show the caller's number and has the important functions, but absolutely no language apps. If I don´t understand the speaker at the other end, I know it is a nuisance call!
(In theory it might be an Italian talking too fast for me, but any Italian friend who would use that number would probably start in English.)

My mobile/smart phone is for private purposes only, and that does not include learning Italian... I use the thing as little as possible.

I like to have as few apps as possible and only keep the ones I am actually using.
I've had some in the past but did not reinstall them after getting a new phone.

I have quite a few different dictionary apps for French and Japanese. I like to have a few sources to reference before deciding on the best translation.

A dozen or so... Aug 31, 2020

... but most are related to the language I'm actively learning, not to my working languages.

Proz.com, and then Google translate was installed by default. I also have BookBeat (ebooks and audiobooks) to keep my vocabulary active. I tried Duolingo for French but it quickly became very repetitive so I got rid of it.
