Several general fertilizers to use for most micronutrient deficiencies
as well as major nutrient deficiencies are: any of Applied
Hydroponic or Eco-Grow line of fertilizers for hydroponic gardening,
since they contain every necessary nutrient; Miracle-Gro for tomatoes
has every nutrient except Band Mo; Miracid is another good
foliar treatment for Fe, Mn, and Zn problems. Fish emulsion is a
good organic source of nitrogen. Mirac1e-Gro and Ra-Pid-Cro
should solve most deficiencies except Mg. Many general fertilizer
now contain all or most of the micro nutrients, along with N, P, and
K. Read the labels to see which brand contains the most of th
nutrient you need. For micronutrient deficiencies, fertilize the soil
once, and foliar feed until symptoms disappear.
