Creo que "eliminar" se utiliza más en este contexto (normalmente lo que se hace es "hacerlas desaparecer", ¿no?)

Efectivamente, tras rebuscar en juegos flash similares en inglés, he comprobado que "play away" en este contexto casi inexistente es DESTRUIR. ¡Gracias a todos! ¡A veces se echa mucho de menos un contexto decente!
