• Receive and photograph
• Tear down and inspection
• Clean all components
• Steam and bake armature and pole frame
• Megger test, surge and bar to bar resistance check armature
• Inspect Armature bearing fits on armature and bearing housing. Record results
• Megger, HiPot, drop test and Impedance test pole frame
• Varnish treat armature and pole frame
• Inspect Teflon Band and flash ring and replace or repair if necessary
• Check armature shaft run out and spline condition
• Turn, Under-cut, dust groove and bevel commutator
• Check balance of armature
• Electrical testing of armature and coils
• Armature bearing and seal replacement
• Crack testing of all high stress points on parts
• Planet gear bearing replacement
• Inspection of hub bearings
• Inspect gear case for cracks and advise if repair is required
• Inspect flinger ring fit to torque tube. Record diameter
• Replacement of all wear bands and seals
• Inspect oil return hoses and replace as required
• Inspection of all cables
• Inspection of brake lines
• New brushes
• Reassemble motor with reconditioned armature
• Run test motor in each direction
• Measure and record operating voltage and curren
