As used herein, a subject may be indentified as being “at risk of a Tscm-mediated disease or condition” when the cellular changes in their T-cell population have begun to take place, but the subject has not yet presented symptoms or would not be diagnosed as having such a disease by any conventional method. Thus, the methods and uses disclosed herein may aid in the early identification of patients who will develop such diseases.

В данном контексте можно определить, что субъект «подвержен риску развития Tscm-опосредованного заболевания или состояния», если клеточный состав популяции T-клеток начал изменяться, но у субъека еще не проявляются симптомы, или если у субъекта не диагностируется такое заболевание любым стандартным способом.
