Your line manager effectiveness scores

English to French Bus/Financial Finance (general)
bonjour,
je dois traduire un courrier envoyé à des "leaders" d'une entreprise.
Je ne suis pas certaine de ce que je comprends et je ne voudrais pas faire de contresens, voici les passages dans lesquels apparaît l'expression en objet:

At XXX, we aim to continually develop our leaders. To help achieve this, we have introduced the line manager effectiveness measure in the Employee Survey.This consists of four specific questions which form an overall line manager effectiveness score. Since five or more of your employees responded, we are able to share your results with you. Your line manager effectiveness scores likely highlight areas in which you are doing well as a manager and role model – and possibly areas for improvement.

J'avais donc pensé qu'il s'agissait de "Vos scores d’efficacité en tant que supérieur hiérarchique".

Mais un peu plus loin je trouve : Your line manager effectiveness scores are not shared with anyone else in your business. However we encourage you to discuss the scores with your line manager and integrate his/her feedback in your action plan.

Donc je ne sais plus quoi penser. On a donc deux line managers?

Que comprenez-vous ?
Merci
Laetitia

Discussion

Tony M Jun 28, 2017:
@ Asker I think you may be unclear about the meaning of 'line manager'? It purely and simply means 'the next person above you in the hierarchical structure' — so almost everyone will have a line manager and yet may themselves be someone else's line manager.

vous avez tout à fait raison - shame on me.... ;-)
Peer comment(s):

agree Simon Mac : Looking at the text, I believe this is the correct interpretation. And the line manager must themselves have a line manager.

agree Tony M : Yes, it is YOUR score as a line manager.
