je suis en train de traduire un texte financier depuis l'italien et je ne sais pas comment traduire le terme OVERRIDE dans cette phrase :

En régulation override signifie ne pas tenir compte (passer par-dessus) d'un paramètre.
Discussion
"Override" in the sense of giving priority to one safety mechanism mover another one? Not impossible - but if these are financial products what should be overriding what???
Overriding someone's decision, override as part of a safety mechanism and "override" as a type of commission for salesmen ... totally different meanings, all possible depending on the context!
