Multivariate Autoregressive analysis of the process-wide effects of control loops malfunctions

The stability of the process is the key for good runability, uniformity of quality and optimising raw material and energy costs. A major source for process variability is due to far from optimal control system performance. The toolbox to be developed will allow plant personnel to analyse control loop performance, taking a process-wide view of the effects of control loop malfunctions. For example, one resonating control loop can cause a large part of the process to fluctuate. There might even be several control loops each working well enough on its own, but due to mutual incompatibility, resonating when every on of them is an automatic.
