da, este clar, din contextul funizat reiese ca se solicita plata anticipata a 40% din valoarea comenzii, drept (depozit de) garantie.

: ori este plată anticipată, ori garanţie (au regim juridic diferit). Eu cred că, de fapt, prin plata anticipată, se confirmă comanda şi atât. Aici, depozit nu înseamnă depozit în bancă, ci plata (depunerea) sumei cerute.
