Por cierto, el maestro Torrents dels Prats, en su Diccionario de dificultades del inglés, nos recuerda que versátil quiere decir voluble, tornadizo, incosntante, mudable "un poco veleta".
Versatile se puede traducir correctamente con muchos otros términos españoles, como polifacético, de muchos talentos, de muchas aficiones. Tratándose de cosas como la de tu texto, se puede decir que tiene muchas aplicaciones, adaptable, muy adaptable, multiusos, etc.
