I looked and looked and there really isn't a direct translation for ridedown (at least I haven't found any).
As a logical synonym for ridedown I thought about "overtake" so the translation for that would be adelantar / rebasar (ref: car).
I understand what they mean in the paragraph you wrote but not sure exactly how to word it.

As this is related to a test of an impact, these ridedown accelerations are (I'm guessing) the accelerations experienced as a result of the impact.
My suggestion would be something along the lines of aceleración subsiguiente or aceleración consecutivo.
