As I said before, and you have confirmed that it is Namibia. https://www.lac.org.na/laws/annoREG/Maintenance Act 9 of 200... Here it refers to the "Maintenance Act 9 of 2003" not "Act of 9 of 2003". In other words it is "No. 9 of 2003" concerning Maintenance. It is the number designated to this particular Act. You have 1 of 2003, 2/2003 which are not related to "maintenance" issues. http://www.lac.org.na/laws/2003/3043.pdf No. 9 of 2003: Maintenance Act, 2003. The former apparently repeals Act No. 23 of 1963.

Yes. The fragment was taken from a text related to Namibia. The problem is that I don't know what the number means. In Chile we have numbers in our laws (as far as I know) but no related to the dates of when they were passed. Here is where the problem is. The fragment of the text is: "...new law on maintenance, and the Maintenance Act of 9 of 2003 introduced many positive changes." Also, in the text is mentioned this: "Maintenance Act 23 of 1963"

What country? Namibia has an Act 9. BTW, it is not Act of 9 of 2003, but rather "Act 9 of 2003". Or is this Chile?
