English term

deckle edge

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Printing & Publishing Book printing
Hello,

I'd appreciate your help.

I don't have much context, unfortunately. It refers to a type of edge of printed books that is not even as 'normal' books.

I found the terms 'borde picoteado', 'borde plumillado', and 'borde de barbas'.

Perhaps someone with more experience in this field can help me confirm the proper term.

Thank you,

Elena

borde picoteado / con borde de barbas

I can't say with certainty which is more appropriate for your context, but "borde picoteado", OR "con borde de barbas" appear to be the more commonly used.
