French to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Software

This term has been defined as follows:

"traduction d'un code dans un code différent"

Although I found "transcodification" as a translation on a small number of (unreliable) websites, I'm really not convinced that this is the term that an English-speaking developer would use.

Would anyone know what the equivalent term is in English?
