French term

fruits du terroir

French to English Marketing Cooking / Culinary
fruits of soil? fruits from the soil? fruits from soil?
It doesn't sound right to me, is there anything beter?

Many Thanks

fruits from the home soil

Terroir has a romantic connotation
Peer comment(s):

disagree Tony M : I certainly agree with the very special connotation of 'terroir' in French; but unfortunately this suggestion just doesn't read naturally in English, I'm afraid.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
