I'm translating a piece of market research, conducted using groups of women from different countries. It talks about their skin problems and what they would like from products. "Transversal expectations" (which appears in the Proz glossary as the translation for a similar Spanish term) doesn't mean much to me. Could I just put "general expectations"?

common or shared expectations
I take this to mean expectations that intersect, that are shared. As Cetacea suggests, cross-cultural could work, but here is a slightly different meaning. The references below support this, since they talk about surveys and research among different groups or departments.
(You'll have to search the pdf's for "transversale.")
Also, if this is a research report, from the context you may even be able to say, Executive Summary -- because I imagine it goes on to list shared expectations.
