The type of "conduit" used for a restaurant kitchen extractor unit. I'm afraid that's the only context I have. The term appears in some specifications for tenants of retail units in a shopping centre, which stipulates what the extractor unit must be made of and then goes onto say "Compte tenu de la particularité des installations (conduit en surpression) une attention particuliere sera apportée a la qualité des joints de trappes de visite pour éviter toute propagation d'odeur".

high pressure ducting
This is talking about having a good seal to prevent any odour escaping, I think that duct is the best term but of course 'conduit' can also mean flue or pipe!

: This type of extract system doesn't usually use high pressure, in the way described in your ref., which is referring specifically to aircon.
