Not sure at all what this is referring to or an quivalent translation, for a solar plant pls see below thanks

DETECTION DES DEFAUTS ET SECURITES
La protection doit être sensible à tous les défauts mophasés ou polyphasés résistants :
* Situés sur la ligne à protéger,
* Situés à proximité immédiate du point de mesure même si la tension est trop faible.
La protection ne doit donner ni ordre, ni information intempestive dans les cas suivants :
* cycle de réenclenchement sur la ligne protégée ou sur une autre ligne du réseau,
* ouverture du disjoncteur à l'autre extrémité,
* oscillations des générateurs et marche hors synchronisme.
* régimes transitoires provoqués par l'apparition ou l’élimination d'un défaut sur un autre ouvrage.
* oscillations libres d'ouvrages lors de leur mise hors tension,
* manoeuvres de l'appareillage sur l’ouvrage à protéger ou sur l’ouvrage adjacent, en particulier mise sous tension de lignes, câbles ou transformateurs,

Ouvrage is possibly the main difficulty here. Certainly not a building or mechanical structure, but the equipment itself, including the whole grid. "Apparatus" might do it...

@Bashiqa Can't agree with the idea of mechanical oscillation, I'm afraid. For one thing, it specifically says "lors de leur mise hors tension", and for another, how could these protective devices possibly be protecting against any form of mechanical phenomenon?

@CC Agree with all you have said EXCEPT the last bit. I think it does refer to mechanical movement. If the machine is mounted on dampers, there will be some movement due to inertial forces when switching off, but I do stand to be corrected if I am not reading it correctly.

Since any electrical network, large or small, is a collection of capacitors, resistor and inductances, it may, unless sufficiently damped, "ring" (ie like a bell) when subjected to an impulse such as switching on or off. This is termed a "free oscillation". I am assuming that the author is referring to electrical, rather than mechanical, oscillation of the "ouvrage".
