TCO est l’abréviation de la fédération syndicale suédoise des employés (Tjänstemännens Centralorganisation) à l’origine des sévères exigences en matière de faible rayonnement.
La norme TCO 92 définit le seuil de rayonnement du moniteur, des champs magnétiques et de la consommation de courant.

Usually TCO means Total Cost of Ownership but here it refers to the Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees (Tjänstmännens Central Organisation). They defined strong standards for emissions of radiation by computer screens.
