French term

photoréserve

French to English Law/Patents Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright Patent for an improved conveyer
Dear Friends,

I am translating a French patent that was written some 35 years ago. It deals with an attempt to resolve the problem of painting lettering on circuit boards with spray paint nozzles located underneath the conveyer belt.

I have not been able to find a good English equivalent for "photoréserve". If anyone can help, I would be very appreciative.

Here is the context:

Many thanks in advance,

Laura

photoresist

This seems to be the English term for the process; hope it's of some use!
