French term

Il n’en reste pas moins que

French to English Other Marketing Manual for a franchise store
I'm not familiar with this saying in French....

Context:

It goes without saying, however,

Basically, it means
"Despite this" or "all the same"

French term (edited): Il nen reste pas moins que

Be that as it may

more elegant and take into account what comes before..

il n'en reste pas moins que

Nevertherless et alia are too heavy and too legal sounding

Somebody put up a quote from de Maupassant and then erased it....How silly to do that. Very aggressive. I don't mind comments but don't like erasers.
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : pro? such a stock 'tournure'?

You and I disagree on what is pro or non-pro. It's not the "expression en soi". It';s the flow of the translation, that is what is pro P.
