This is a self-explanatory little blurb on a hospital website:
Le Service d’Imagerie Médicale de l’Hôpital XXX dispose du plus récent ostéodensitomètre ***biphotonique***, permettant une mesure extrêmement précise de la densité osseuse.
My translation so far is:
The Department of Medical Imaging of XXX hospital operates a latest-generation biphotonic bone densitometer that very accurately measures bone density.
Anyone know for sure if biphotonic is correct? Most references are to biophotonics, but I have been informed by the client that "bi" here really does mean "two".
Any help most appreciated!!
