French to English Law/Patents Patents European Patent Office
This person, working at the Opposition Division of the European Patent Office, has signed and sent a decision on a patent. I have it tentatively down as "dispatcher" but am not at all sure. Please confirm or correct.

examiner

According to Wikipedia, "A patent examiner or patent clerk is an employee, usually a civil servant, working within a patent office."

In answer to your note above (and sorry, I don't know how to place this answer in the top box - I'm new to ProZ!), I think the terms is Patent Formalities Officer. cf: http://www.epo.org/about-us/jobs/administrative-staff/ext-41...
