La coupe : c'est la première opération au cours de laquelle les axes ou les tronçons d'axes sont coupés en
bandes. Soit en 83 bandes pour un produit 16 mm ou en 38 bandes s'il s'agit d'un produit 35 mm.

disagree Tony M : Very strongly! This is all about slitting down film, and the correct term is definitely 'strip' // Well, I don't know how I'm supposed to guess what you MEANT to say, when what you DID say seemed clear enough!

what is a glib? C'est tout was short for that is all I can think of at the moment then I added strips. You cannot guess everyone through two words even in your own mother tongue so do not get upset...
