Depends on context, but if this is genuinely 'printing', then 'spot' is I believe the term used in the industry for 'sélectif' (i.e. only applied over a portion of the image)

Without more details of the graphics involved, I can't tell whether there are parts that are 'spot' varnish and other parts that are 'satin', or whether in fact they are both referring to the same bits of varnish, in which case, of course, it would be 'spot satin-finish varnish'

Of course, if this is pottery rather than printing, then the use of 'vernis' is quite different!

Of course, the use of 'allie' does suggest these are 2 different elements; unless, of course, it means 'combine (with the whole of the other design elements)' like these super blacks etc.
