Real Estate
Contrat d'affichage is the heading in a real estate contract for a residential property. The heading is followed by the following wording:
Il n’existe aucun contrat d’affichage concernant le BIEN dont il s’agit, ainsi déclaré par le VENDEUR.
The preceding heading is "Declaration fiscale" and the subsequent heading is "Reglement de la taxe d'habitation".
I'm aware that there is an existing glossary entry (going back a few years) however there seemed to be some uncertaintly with regard to the most appropriate EN terminology so I have decided to repost in the hope that someone has some ideas!

You could use "billboard advertising" if you need US English

: Yes. These days they tend to be hoardings. Not like in the days of Dubonnet when they were painted on (and made to last!).

: Would a single residential property be advertised on hoardings? Perhaps this is just about not having an estate agent's board?

this is about having/not having commercial advertising hoardings on the property, not about advertising the property itself

: Certain not "billboard". The generic term is "display advertising". This would cover even a For Sale sign.

I believe that the contact concern the posting of adds, notices & so on, in newspapers, window display...
