Dialogue in a short animated film. Two young guys are up on a roof taking photos. One takes a shot of the other (Clepto) then takes another of the two of them together. As far as I can tell, it's the same person (photographer) who's speaking throughout.
_Mortel la vue!
_vas y prend la pose!
_yeeeeh!
_le mec il se la joue cote ouest!
_Attends! Attends!Reste dans le cadre Clepto, j' immortalise.
_secteur ouest représente!
I've worked out that Côte Ouest is the French version of Knots Landing, though it seems odd to me that two young guys should refer to a 90s US soap! I'm inclined to switch to 'Dallas' for more immediate recognition. Is he saying something like 'Sign this guy up for Dallas!'? I'm just trying to get a flavour of the original in the translation.

west coast style
yeah, as someone said in the discussion, it's west coast as in hip-hop. The last sentance indicates this.
So something like
the guy is total west coast style!

Julie Barber
: Given the next line "secteur ouest représente" this seems the most probable for the moment!

: Absolutely. Maybe something like "the dude is, like, totally West Coast" would work.

_ bad boy in the goutière!
He says the word représente as if it were 'represent' (i.e. English pronunciation) and then 'bad boy in ze goutière' (sic)
Re Knots Landing, no it's nothing to do with the text. I was just trying to make sense of something incomprehensible (to me) and happened to notice that Côte Ouest was the FR version of KL.
