I am translating the CV of a project leader for mobile telephony hardware and software projects. In one section he gives the following as part of his role in a previous position:

Définition d’architectures sur plusieurs plateformes matérielles pour le traitement de la voix GSM/UMTS, des données (vidéo téléphonie, circuit, packet IP, contrôle de lux), des modes de basses consommations et études diverses (MIPs, faisabilité).

Can anyone tell me what he means by "contrôle de lux," so far my research has not turned up any useful information.
