French term

is this a typo?

Either I'm missing something or there's a mistake here. How would you read it?

If we're all stuck, I will query with client and give points to the most useful answer.

Discussion

SJLD Oct 22, 2014:
Just had this to translate myself. Must be the same hospital.
A 6F introducer sheath is placed in the femoral artery to provide access for the pigtail catheter for performing the angiography by which the procedure is guided.
Or words to that effect.
SJLD Sep 16, 2013:
introducer The Desilets (somebody's name) catheter is an introducer.

Gabrielle Lyons (asker) Apr 25, 2013:
Text is typed but has handwritten correction: 'gauche' is crossed out and replaced by 'droite'.
Further down the page there's a similar entry and correction 'Insertion d'un desilet 6F dans l'artere femorale commune droite (>gauche) sous controle scopique.'

Note from asker:
Thank you drmanu, and also VJC, but I'm still confused. Is it saying that the desilet is used to guide insertion of the pigtail catheter? Or is there such a thing as a pigtail desilet that's being used to guide something else? And how does 'pour les angiographie' [no 's'] fit in? If you're confused too, please say, as anything at all will help me know how to put a question to the client.
Something went wrong...
2 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you. I'm still not entirely sure what's going on in the sentence, but clearer than I was. I will translate as desilet inserted for angio to guide pigtail, but also flag it up with the client."
