A "Nut" could also be a rabbet: an L shaped groove cut across the edge or end of a board or panel, but I think in your case the groove is a dado because "Teilaufnahme" indicates that the joint is a tongue and dado joint, where it's not the whole board that fits into the dado, but a tongue.
