German term

Bolzenabstand

German to English Tech/Engineering Ships, Sailing, Maritime shipbuilding

hey, Lincoln, putting in a rare appearance!?
agree Manfred Mondt : Just remember, not all Bolzen are bolts, and not all bolts are Bolzen..

agree Gareth McMillan : "Bolt spacing" is great. But if you want to be really picky, Anglo-american draughtsmen would almost always write "hole spacing" unless your "Bolzen" are studs (Stehbolzen) which require a threaded hole, then it's stud spacing. Cultural thing?
