stone hearth vs hearthstone I don't have time to look this up for confirmation, but I'd say that 'stone hearth' describes the oven -- stone hearth oven -- but that the parts in that kind of oven are 'hearthstones' -- which are the parts (usu. brick or ceramic) described here to be cured in preparation for first use. Should probably be "stenhällarna". Both härd and häll are fairly uncommon words in Swedish and could be confused.
