I was born and raised in El Salvador and lived there the first 21 years of my life. I learned English there (mainly to write and read it) and then moved to the United States where I improved my listening and speaking. I started translating legal documents (birth certificates, educational transcripts) in 2001. I started translating Christian literature in 2002. I have translated my church English service into Spanish (simultaneous live radio broadcast translation) since 2004 to present.

I specialize in Christian literature because this is the environment I have been in, all of my life and I thoroughly enjoy increasing my knowledge in this subject. I like to read. Grammar and literature were some of my favorite subjects in school. I like to keep my translations as close to the original as possible, in the best context of words to be understood by the target audience.
