Bio
I have started to work as an English-Cambodian/Khmer translator at the Refugee Camp in Thailand in the early 1980's and continued to serve as an interpreter to the Cambodian Refugee Community in California until the late 1980's. I came to Texas and worked as a Cambodian Community Liaison for the Carrollton-Famers Branch Independent School District in the Dallas area of Texas for about 5 years. My main task was to translate documents from English to Cambodian, explicate cultural differences, and assist Cambodian speakers in overcoming the challenges presented by language barriers.
*As a translator, I strive for accuracy and completeness by producing clear and concise translated text that do not add, omit, or change the meaning of the original message.
*As an interpreter, I serve as a language communicator between the limited-English proficient (LEP) client and the English-speaking provider during interpreting session. I interpret accurately and completely, clarify cultural misunderstandings as well as maintain composure during stressful situations with self-confident in my language skills.

I have also worked as an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer for the Telecom Industries from the mid 1990's to 2002 designing electronic circuits as well as generating documents for various designed products.

I have been a business man; I ran a convenience store for about 10 years in a small town called "Ector" Texas, what's once "The Cowboys Town Down Yonder, Yee..Haw!.". I was a one size fits all kind of man who put in long, hard hours into the business from managing employee schedules and financial flow to serving customers, including keeping business records and fixed equipment. I sold the business in 2012, studied Book Keeping course utilizing Quick Book Software and Tax Preparation Course with H&R Block. I worked for the company in 2012 Tax season, continuing Tax return preparation for many Cambodian friends for the 2013 Tax season.

My kids are of college-age. I'm back for the English-Khmer interpretation/translation again, since 2012.

I would be more than happy to assist you. My goal is to serve and satisfy all clients with accurate and reliable translation in a timely manner and at a competitive price.
