Bio
I have a Ph.D. in Classics (Latin and Greek languages and literature). I have 8 years computer programming experience in a lab that specializes in bioinformatics and computational biology. I program mostly in Perl, Java, and Php. I am currently a deployment Lead for caBIG, the National Cancer Institute's initiative to establish a nationwide computer grid to be used by all major cancer centers.
I have lived for five years in Italy.
