As far as I can tell, comments made to glossary entries are only visible by clicking on the entry and I'm guessing the majority of people don't do this. Maybe comments should be automatically visible?

Just a thought!

I was thinking the very same thing this morning... after adding such a comment. I have to admit that I hardly ever think of clicking the link to 'Contribute to this entry' myself (in fact, I believe most Kudoz users don't even know this option exists...), so some sort of icon or symbol to indicate that a comment has been added to an entry might be useful.... Or perhaps the sentence 'Contribute to this entry' could be changed automatically into 'A contribution has been made to this entry'. Someth... See more

If users don't know the comments exist then they're pretty pointless (comments, not users!)

Good luck. Aug 28, 2006

Yes, I certainly agree with these comments. The way it is now, those comments on glossary items are useless if people don`t know they are there.

I made the same suggestions a long time ago, many colleagues also agreed, but no result, no response.
Wish you better luck this time.

That would be extremely helpful for us.

Or perhaps as the colleague says that it automatically changes to 'A contribution has been made to this entry'.

Good idea.

See if someone reads this.

Cheers!
