Yes

Yes, regularly, but I just take a quick look to see if it's really spam or an actual client or potential client (which happens all the time).
And I doubt very much those who voted "no" because I don't believe them (sorry). Human beings are much more curious than cats. No one erases their spam folder without taking a quick look in what they are erasing. If anyone does, they are making a big mistake because, as I mentioned above, our e-mail servers regularly throw non-spam emails in the spam... See more

Not even close. ▲ Collapse

Other - I try to remember

At one point my email account was hacked on my server and malware was being sent from me to me. As one of the remedies, the support team on my server redirected those messages to my Spam folder. This has meant that I have to check the folder if I cc myself. The rest of the time, I try to remember to check, just in case.

I check the spam folder in my local email client (Pegasus mail) at least once per day. I also have my own mail server, which manages the various accounts I use for personal and business mail. I check the spam folders on that mail server much less frequently, maybe twice per month. If I find any mails that have gone there by mistake, I add the sender to the white list.

On a related topic, over the last couple of years I've had trouble with mails I send to long-standing friends or clients with gmail addresses. Some of my mails get sent to the spam folder - especially those that contain hyperlinks or have attachments. This only happens with gmail, not with outlook or yahoo, for example. All very annoying. ▲ Collapse
