The company is not filing for bankruptcy or being dissolved. Its financial obligations will not change, including monies owed to subcontractors and other creditors, which they are most probaby duly paying, since the company seems to be very successful and, under new management, without the internal fights, will probably be even more successful.

I wonder how they got the contract for "Credible fear" interviews. I talked to a PM and she has no clue what it is all about.

We do not really need Transweed translation companies like that, especially in NYC. $0.09/w or less for legal translation into English. A total abomination. Just draining jobs from professional translators. | | | Clarisa Moraña United States Local time: 02:53 Member (2002) English to Spanish + ... Into Spanish is worse. They email to hundreds of translators into Spanish and offer rate as the following: No match: 877.0 * 0.06 USD = 52.62 USD
or Phase Name: Translation Total Word count: 894 Unit of work: 'Flat' Rate: 1.0 * 35.0 USD = 35.0 USD
They are millionaires! They pay peanuts to their employees and translators! But I'm sure my life is happier than theirs!

It is annoying, even infurating, that their success is built on the exploitation of others, when they clearly have more than enough earnings to share with those who have helped them build their fortune. | | | Sad Development | Sep 2, 2015 |
As somebody who has followed this soap opera for a while, I am disheartened to read that progress might happen. Translation business issues aside, I would recommend a web search for anybody who wants a good laugh.

There are probably a few very talented and dedicated employees working at that agency (not the owners) who are the ones keeping things together and running operations behind the scenes. Once they leave (perhaps to open their own company), the company may fall apart. Well, we all know there is a wide choice of agencies out there, quite a few of them pay pretty decent and even good fees.

Professional translators are not being "forced" to contact this agency or the like, and to accept their jobs/fees. Truly professional translators are professionals, they are freelancers, independant. This agency became rich not because they're ruthless, but because tousands of (professional) translators are ludicrous
Sorry guys, let's face it!
