Lo stile di arredamento classico sta però rivalutando molto le vasche da bagno di fattura barocca o rinascimentale. Si tratta di vasche da bagno non incassate nel muro che possono essere posizionate sia accanto al muro che al centro della stanza e che sono caratterizzate dal fatto di possedere dei piedini in ottone o in metallo. Queste vasche sono di dimensioni abbastanza piccole e si adattano quindi anche ai bagni poco spaziosi. Si tratta di vasche davvero molto eleganti e sobrie che sono perfette per accompagnare i mobili classici e gli accessori pregiati.

Secondo me qui si riferisce al materiale di cui è composta la vasca e non l'ubicazione... e anche se "terrazzo" si usa di più per le pavimentazioni, come dice giustamente Sara, nella variante inglese/americano viene usato anche per altre strutture.
