W bardziej oficjalnej wersji jest to "lokal, którego właściciel lub dzierżawca/najemca posiada zezwolenie na sprzedaż napojów alkoholowych przeznaczonych do spożycia na miejscu" - ale do podanego kontekstu takie tłumaczenie niezbyt pasuje.
Można ewentualnie tak: restauracje, (drink-)bary, puby(, piwiarnie, winiarnie) i tym podobne lokale.
