Spanish term

pacing MPS

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Cardiology Resting ECG
Hi all,

This is Spanish, from a cardiology dept. report for an elderly patient (who has congestive heart failure, diabetes [NIDDM], high BP, obesity), chief complaint = dilated myocardiopathy.
In a table of complementary tests I've got:

"Prueba Resultados
ECG reposo Pacing MPS."

I presume "MPS = murmullo presistólico", (presystolic murmur), but the "pacing" part?? I guess it's just Spanglish but I can't find refs for "pacing presystolic murmur".
Any help appreciated.
Proposed translations (English)

Neil Ashby (asker) Feb 10, 2019:
Thanks Joseph, Chema, makes sense, but I find a little strange that it doesn't mention a pacemaker in the section "Cardiovascular history"....?
Joseph Tein Feb 8, 2019:
MPS It probably stands for Marcapasos here.
Thomas Walker Feb 8, 2019:
pacing I think "pacing" refers back to the ECG, not directly to the murmur. I'm not really up to speed to this level on ECG procedures, but it seems to refer to some of the parameters in advanced ECG testing. See for example: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S097262921... & http://en.my-ekg.com/pacemaker-ekg/pacemaker-ekg.html

pacemaker rhythm
