angielski term
live zero vs. dead zero

Inżynieria (ogólne)
If a signal shows zero value, there are two possibilities. First, that the actual value of the process variable is zero, live zero. A speed signal can show zero if the actual speed zero. The signal can also be zero if the connection to the tachometer is broken, dead zero.

Czy są jakieś polskie precyzyjne odpowiedniki tych terminów?

Czy można prosić o jakieś uzasadnienie odpowiedzi? Słabo mi się to googluje w tym kontekście. |

Ja idę w kierunku:
- live zero - zero rzeczywiste
- dead zero - zero pozorne (bo wydaje się, że to zero, a tak naprawdę nie działa poprawnie urządzenie)
The significant advantage of a live zero, which is why 4-20 mADC became the international analog signal standard, is that you can easily detect a broken wire or a failed power supply by seeing that the loop reading is zero.

The well established 4–20 mA current range is used to differentiate live zero and dead zero. A live zero is indicated by 4 mA and a dead zero by 0 mA. If the control signal is itself zero, it is live zero (4mA). Under fault conditions, the electronic signal would fall to zero (dead zero).
