“va bene che io ne ho mangiata una porzione piccolissima, però non ho rigettato né ho avuto tutti quei sintomi sgradevoli di cui parli. Certo, sul fatto che mi ha appesantito non ci piove, ho dormito come da anni non mi capitava…non mi sono praticamente accorta di nulla, mi hanno raccontato tutto loro” – e con un ampio gesto del braccio racchiude tutti e tre i miei familiari.

"non ci piove" - idiomatic phrase meaning "no doubt about that"

"mi ha appesantito" - it was heavy on his/her stomach, made the digestion slower and made the person slumber off

agree philgoddard : I'd say "there's no doubt". "No doubt" implies "probably", which is not quite the meaning.
