English term

area (of interest)

English to French Other Law (general)
Dear Translator,

I am translating this guarantee contract and I find it awfully written. I came across this paragraph:

XXX LTD implements its activities in all European countries and, with the help of a structure on the area of interest, which contributes to the pursuit of new opportunities and to search for possible funding and structures suitable for the development of 'activity in question;

First, the grammatical structure of the sentence is a joke, but I am struggling to understand the below part:

"with the help of a structure on the area of interest"? What on earth does this mean?

Thanks for your lights on this!
