Cada universitat ha de trametre al departament competent en matèria d’universitats, en el termini que aquest departament determini, la liquidació auditada del pressupost anterior i la resta de documentació que constitueixen els comptes anuals ****de les entitats en el capital o fons patrimonial equivalent*** de les quals la universitat té participació majoritària, als efectes de llur remissió a la Intervenció General de la Generalitat i a la Sindicatura de Comptes.

First draft: Each university shall submit to the ministry responsible for universities, within the time period determined by the latter, the audited Budget Liquidation Report and the documentation constituting the Annual Accounts ******* .............. ****** in which the university has a majority shareholding, so that these may be referred to the Generalitat General Audit Department and to the Public Audit Office.

I'm thrown a bit by the 'equivalent'. "entitats en el capital o fons patrimonial equivalent" - would these be something like "organisations forming part of the capital (of the university) or of the equivalent patrimonial fund"?

(By teh way, I'm temporarily using 'patrimony/patrimonial' until I get the full picture).
