Ti prego, non tradurre "fettine", perché sa tanto di ciò che troviamo dal macellaio.
Al momento, qui su Kudoz, trovi proprio una richiesta di traduzione dall'italiano all'inglese di "corone radiate" (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/italian_to_english/medical_health_... = coronal sections/slices.
Quindi, "slices" sta per corone.
