Italian term

addio attacchi nervosi

Italian to English Marketing Food & Drink Online detoxification programme
Is this a technical term or jsut a light hearted comment on saying goodbye to nervous attacks?

The title of this particular package is "superveloce" !

"Consigliato per perdere peso, controllo della fame (addio attacchi nervosi), avere più energia, assimilare di meno i grassi e quindi accelerare i tuoi risultati. "

Discussion

P.L.F. Persio Aug 27, 2015:
Well, the original Italian text is not very accurate; they should have written attacchi incontrollati di fame nervosa, or something along those lines.
Never underestimate either your intuition, or your experience – you earned them!
Lara Barnett (asker) Aug 27, 2015:
@ missdutch Thank you. I had a slight feeling it may be binge attacks.... but wouldn't listen to my intuition that time !
P.L.F. Persio Aug 27, 2015:
@Lara: Nel tuo specifico contesto gli attacchi nervosi non sono né break-downs, né tantomeno panic attacks, ma in italiano non abbiamo un esatto equivalente per impulse/binge eating, che rimane la soluzione perfetta.

Also: emotional eating.
However, in this case I think impulse eating fits best

these solutions refer to the nervous sensations, the desire to eat-if you want to refer to the actual eating in itself then you could also say

no more binging
similar to a colleague's suggestion

goodbye to insatiable cravings

I don't think you need to add "for food" given the context.
